Members enjoy the large swimming and diving pool, plus a separate splash pool with a fun water feature for small children. WFC offers swimming and diving lessons as well as competitive swim and dive teams. At the lake, members can swim out to the float, paddle a canoe, row a boat, fish, or build a sand castle on the beach.
The Ark is WFC’s warm, rustic, year-round clubhouse. It is the social center where members gather for meals in the dining room or on the patio, drinks at the bar, just to relax or for events such as our Mother’s Day Brunch and Father’s Day Cookout, Summer Bash, and year-end Holiday Party. Chef Dave prepares a wide-variety of gourmet delights and kid-friendly standards to suit everyone. Members can also have Chef Dave cater their own private party at the Ark. In the fall and winter, Sunday brunch and Friday night dinners are served!
The Club facilities include 7 har-tru courts, 4 of them are lighted, and 3 paddle courts. A paddle pro shop overlooks the courts. During the Spring and Summer months the Club has 3 ladies tennis teams, 2 men’s tennis teams and boys and girls teams. In the Fall and Winter season the program has 2 ladies paddle teams and 4 men’s paddle teams. The WFC professional tennis staff offers outstanding clinics, lessons and events for players at all levels of play, from beginner to advanced. We have men’s and ladies teams in the Fairfield County Interclub League.
During the summer, the Club offers a 7-week structured, carefully supervised and state-licensed youth program for children ages 4 through 10. The summer camp offers assorted sports and after camp programs, active youth programs that run full time in the summer and part time the rest of the year, swim and dive teams, year round dining in the ARK, basketball court, game rooms, trap shooting, stocked trout pond and boating. WFC offers tennis lessons, swimming, basketball, fun crafts and more. Members can sign-up for all 7 weeks or just pick the camp weeks that best suit their busy schedules.
